Cristina Corral

Assistant Vice President, Loan Review Associate

Cristina Corral is a collaborative leader with a versatile background in finance, marketing, and media and is proficient in bilingual communication and analytics. She currently serves as Assistant Vice President of Loan Review at WestStar Bank, where she monitors the bank's commercial loan portfolio by assessing and managing risk.

Cristina joined WestStar in 2014 as a credit analyst, where she refined her underwriting and financial analytical skills for diverse industries. 

Prior to her banking career, Cristina served as an Account Manager and Content Writer for media company, MindWarp, LLC.  She also previously served as a Marketing Associate at a binational candy and nut manufacturer, where she managed consumer affairs, conducted profitability reports, and performed market analysis.

She earned her Master of Business Administration in Finance in 2014 from the University of Texas at El Paso, where she also obtained her Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing with the designation of Outstanding Graduate in Marketing. 

Apart from her professional career, Cristina is a community advocate for arts, education, and cultural competence.  She currently serves as the executive board President of El Paso Pro-Musica, which makes chamber music accessible to all through educational outreach and community engagement.  She also currently serves on the Advisory Committee for El Paso Film Festival, which provides a platform and collaborative community for filmmakers, directors, writers, and actors from the Paso Del Norte Region, Mexico, and beyond.  Cristina is a former member of the Junior League of El Paso and has served as a translator for scholarship programs in Mexico.

On a more personal note, Cristina's favorite place is somewhere she’s never been.  She’s a foodie at heart and loves to travel and experience different cultures.  She aspires to influence others to live with an open mind and an open heart.
